West Orange, NJ- The Wagner men's golf team defeated Saint Peter's 5-1 in match play on Tuesday at Montclair Golf Club.
The Seahawks were able to play through tough weather conditions with wind and small bits of rain at Montclair Golf Club to pull off their second match play victory of the spring season.Â

How It Happened:
- Joshua Hayes led the team with the first win, taking his match 6&4.
- Matthew Schurin battled a close match but lost 2&1.
- Mario Saludes won his match next 2&1.
- Luke Bigelow had a very close match to the end. He was all square going onto 18 and drained a 25-foot putt for birdie on 18 to win his match.
- Michael Foley had the next victory, winning 4&2.
- Tyler Galantini was 1 up going to the last hole and made a solid par on 18 to win 1 up.Â
The Seahawks close out the season next Friday, April 29 through Sunday, May 1 for the NEC Championship at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, FL. Â
