Bethlehem, PA – The Wagner College bowling team went 2-1 on the first day of Northeast Conference (NEC) #3, held at Town & Country Lanes in Bethlehem, PA.

Opening Statement: "I am really pleased with how our team performed today. We had a good couple of days of practice before starting our third conference meet of the season. We need to continue to build upon these improvements as we conclude play tomorrow with four more competitive conference matches."
Baker Pinfall #1 - Wagner 985, Duquesne 883
- Wagner trailed by just two pins after the first game (183-181) but responded quickly in the second game, rolling the first of three straight 200 games, finishing off the second game with a 2017 to the Dukes' 146.
- In game three, Wagner finished with a 213 to Duquesne's 170.
- The Seahawks created more separation in the match after rolling a 208 in game four to their opponents, 175.
Baker Pinfall #2 - Wagner 787, St. Francis Brooklyn 869
- The Seahawks were down 18 pins after the first game.
- The Terriers pushed their lead up to 21 after edging the Green & White, 163-160.
- St. Francis Brooklyn continued to build upon its lead after adding 37 more pins to their total.
- Wagner finished the match with a 171 to SFBK's 165.
Baker Pinfall #3 - Wagner 897, Saint Francis U 880
- The Seahawks finished the first day of action edging out Saint Francis U by 17 pins.
- Wagner started the match off rolling a 194 before going up by 38 after two games.
- The Red Flash clawed back after outshooting the Green & White, 223-159, in game three, as SFU took a 26-pin lead.
- SFU added ten more to their advantage before the Seahawks rebounded to roll their fourth 200-game of the day, outscoring the Red Flash, 207-159, in earning the win.
