Seahawks Blanked At LIU On Sunday Evening

Bethpage, NY - The Wagner women's tennis team dropped its Northeast Conference (NEC) match on the road to the LIU Sharks, 5-0, on Sunday. 

The Seahawks gave the Sharks a scare in both No. 1 & No. 2 doubles, as both matches went to LIU in the form of 6-4 wins. 

LIU swept through the singles matches but didn't come easy, as Tara Dakic went three sets with Valentina Dancenco (6-4; 2-6; 2-6). 

Wagner will return to Long Island on April 1 to square off against Stony Brook.
