HOW IT HAPPENED…
First Quarter…
  • Both teams had a slow start to the contest, as the game was tied at 4-4 at the 6:03 mark before a two-minute gap between scoring when Krista Grava was able to convert on the driving layup, only to have Bryant's Lucie Castagne hit a pull up jumper on the other end.
  • The Bulldogs close out the quarter scoring six of the ten points in taking a slim 12-10 lead.

Second Quarter…
  • Alex Cowan scored six of Wagner's first eight points in the frame, as her pull-up jumper at the 3:48 mark gave the Seahawks the lead, 18-16.
  • Bryant was able to head into the break with a one-point lead, 22-21 after Katrice Jackson made the backend of a two-shot foul.

 Third Quarter…
  • The two teams struggled until Raven Pitt was able to convert on a layup after a pass from Zhaneia Thybulle, who finished with six helpers in the contest.
  • Following a Jallow layup, Krista Grava was able to muscle home two as Wagner went back up, 25-24, before Drayah Heyward followed up with a layup of her own.
  • From that point, Bryant outscored Wagner, 14-11, to take a 40-38 lead, but not without a buzzer-beating heave by Thybulle.

  • Gallagher was fouled with eight seconds but missed both attempts and the Seahawks had a chance to cut it to one, but Thybulle's triple rattle the iron as the Bulldogs hung on for the win.
