New Britain, CT - The Wagner women's basketball team concludes the weekend on Saturday as they head to New Britain, CT to tangle with the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils. 

OPENING TIP...
  • The Seahawks will look for the season sweep of the Blue Devils.
  • Wagner has a four-game win streak over Central Connecticut. 
  • The Blue Devils enter play looking for their straight win. 
  • The Green & White will look to snap a two-game losing skid after falling to Sacred Heart on Thursday evening. 


SERIES BREAKDOWN AGAINST CENTRAL CONNECTICUT...
  • Saturday's contest with the Blue Devils marks the 49th time these two teams will meet with CCSU holding a 27-21 advantage in the head-to-head series. 
  • Wagner is 6-4 in their last ten meetings with the Seahawks riding a four-game win streak against the Blue Devils. 

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS...
  • The Blue Devils are 5-16 on the year and just 4-10 in conference play. 
  • They have won back-to-back gams, with victories at home against Merrimack and Bryant.

WINNING WAYS…
  • In Wagner's 13 wins this season, the Seahawks have outscored their opponents by 11.6 points per game, as the Seahawks offense has put up 63.8 points per game while yielding just 52.2 points per game. 
  • The Green & White have shot the ball well, connecting for 43.4 percent from the floor while hitting on 38.6 percent from three-point range. The opposition, however, has been held to just 36.2 percent shooting and on 21.1 percent from long distance (50-237). 
  • The Seahawks have accounted for nearly 10.0 steals per game in these 13 wins, while forcing 20.2 turnovers per game.

  • Wagner is averaging 59.0 points per game away from the Spiro Sports Center this season while shooting a collective 38.8 percent from the field. 
  • The Green & White have forced close to 20 turnovers over the 12 road contests. 
  • Krista Grava is the lone Seahawk in double-figures, scoring 11.6 points per game away from Grymes Hill while hitting on 40.3 percent from the field and 86.1 percent from the free-throw line. 
  • Thybulle is next, netting 9.4 points per game while dishing out close to five helpers a contest and helping out on the boards at nearly five a contest.

  • Senior forward Emilija Krista Grava became the 25th member of the 1,000 point club on November 28 against New Hampshire.
  • Krista Grava, who recorded the milestone feat with 59.2 seconds showing on the clock in the second quarter, finished the game with 11 points while also grabbing five rebounds.
