Men's Tennis Falls At St. John's On Thursday Afternoon

Queens, NY - The Wagner College men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at St. John's on Thursday afternoon. 

With the loss, the Seahawks fall to 1-5 on the year while the Red Storm moves to 5-1 on the season. 

The teams only played singles matches with No. 2 and No. 3 not being played. 

Odeda Arazza put forth a valiant effort at No. 1 before dropping a 6-2; 6-1 count to Carl Gustavsson. 

Lucas Darling dropped a gritty 6-2; 6-1 decision at No.  to Dylan Loru as St. John's also claimed a straight-set victory at No. 5 and a 6-0; 6-2 triumph at No. 4.

The men's team returns to the courts on Saturday, Feb. 26 as they will travel to Trumbull, CT to take on Sacred Heart in a Northeast Conference (NEC) match at 6:00 p.m. from the The Tennis Club of Trumbull.
