Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College men's basketball team will travel to Delaware State for its final non-conference road game of the season on Tuesday night, with tip-off set for 6:00 pm.
Last Time Out
Trailing 32-28 at the half, Wagner earned a tough 58-55 victory over Stony Brook at the Spiro Sports Center on Thursday night. Sophomores

Zaire Williams led the Seahawks with 13 points apiece, while sophomore
Rob Taylor II scored a career-high 11 points, all of which came in the first half. In a tightly contested game, the second half alone featured 13 lead changes and six ties.
The First Goal In Sight
With one win in the last two non-conference games, the Seahawks could finish the non-conference slate with a winning record. Wagner is currently the lone Northeast Conference (NEC) school with a record above the .500 mark.
The first two months of the season have featured impressive victories over Temple, Fairfield, NJIT, and Stony Brook along with a 3-0 mark at the Spiro Sports Center under first-year head coach
Donald Copeland.
Taking Care Of The Ball
At 10.9 turnovers per contest, Wagner ranks first in the NEC and 30
th in the country in turnovers per game.
Wagner DNA On Display
Through nine games, Wagner's style of play reflects well in the statistical rankings.
The Seahawks lead the NEC in offensive rebounds per game (12), which ranks 77
th in the nation.
Wagner is also first in the conference in scoring defense (66.1), and rebounding margin (0.9).
Scouting The Hornets
Delaware State enters Tuesday's matchup with a 1-10 overall record. The Hornets' lone victory of the season came over Division III member Immaculata on November 10.
Last season, Wagner earned a wire-to-wire 93-51 win over Delaware State at the Spiro Sports Center, as five Seahawks scored in double figures.
Price-Noel's Clutch Gene

Jahbril Price-Noel keeps coming up big in key moments for the Seahawks. Against Stony Brook, Price-Noel hit yet another clutch three on the Seahawks' ensuing possession to give Wagner a 56-54 advantage with 1:27 to play.
In Wagner's season-opening win over Temple, Price-Noel's three with three seconds to play forced overtime, while his game-high 19 points against NJIT led the Seahawks to a 62-57 road win.
Long Distance The Difference
Defensively, Wagner ranks first in the conference in three-point percentage defense at 30.6 percent. On the offensive end of the floor, the Seahawks lead the circuit in three-pointers per game at 8.1.
Balanced Offensive Attack
One year after graduating a record-setting four all-conference players, Wagner's offense is receiving contributions from multiple players.
Nine players have scored at least 10 points in one or more contests.
