Staten Island, NY - The Wagner women's bowling team will begin its season at the Seahawks Invitational.
The two-day tournament will take place at Rabs Country Lanes as Wagner will welcome St. Francis U, St. Francis Brooklyn, Wilmington, Felician, Caldwell, New Jersey City, Molloy and St. Thomas Aquinas.
The Green and White concluded the second season of competition at the Third Annual Northeast Roundup, hosted by Wilmington University last March. Overall, Wagner finished sixth over the two-day competition.
Third-year head coach Joseph Ambrose and the Seahawks welcome freshman Samantha McDermott from New York, NY as well as a number of players from last season including Northeast Conference (NEC) All-Rookie Team member sophomore Kristina Colon.
Colon is the only player in program history to receive a postseason NEC honor and a weekly NEC honor.
The Seahawks will continue its fall slate at the first NEC tournament of the season on Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13 in Pittsburgh, PA.
