Brookville, NY – The Wagner women's soccer team dropped a Northeast Conference (NEC) contest 1-0 to LIU on Sunday afternoon.
Through the first 45 minutes of the contest, the two sides combined for nine shots as the Sharks tallied five while the Seahawks tallied four. The Sharks opened the scoring 28 minutes into the contest. Senior goalkeeper
Erin Kelly made one save in the first half.
Wagner also generated two corner kick opportunities in the first half but were unable to break through.
In the second half, Wagner tallied just one shot and forced the LIU goalkeeper to stop that single shot. The Sharks tallied 10 shots in the second 45 minutes as
Erin Kelly stopped two shots bringing her game total to three.
The Seahawks generated the lone corner kick opportunity of the half.

Annie White led Wagner with two shots on goal while sophomore
Olivia Rubbo tallied two shots and one on goal. Senior Julianna Rafaniello also tallied one shot for Wagner in the contest.
The loss brings Wagner to 1-4 in NEC play with four conference contests remaining in the season.
The Seahawks will resume NEC play on Thursday, October 13 when they welcome NEC newcomer Stonehill to Hameline Field on Thursday, October 13 at 7:00 P.M.
