Lake Placid, NY- The Wagner men's golf team finished 7th on the team leaderboard at The Autumn Invite hosted by Columbia at Lake Placid Club this weekend.
The Seahawks shot 290, 291, and 299 over three rounds of golf on Saturday and Sunday, scoring +28 after 54 holes.
Michael Foley led the team shooting a 215 (+2) that included a career-best 68 in round one. The sophomore tied for 11th on the players leaderboard and tallied 14 birdies, including four in a row on holes 10-13 in round one.
Tyler Galantini shot a 217 (+4) in the tournament, totaling 12 birdies and finishing tied for 18th individually. The senior started strong in round one, posting a 69.
Alavid Melo Iturralde finished tied for 37th after shooting a 223, including a 71 (E) in round two.
Thomas Choi shot a 228 and
Renato Gerena shot a 231 to round out the Seahawks this weekend.
Wagner returns to the course next Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11 for The Seawane Classic hosted by LIU in Hewlett Harbor, NY.
