North Andover, MA- The Wagner women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to fellow Northeast Conference (NEC) member Merrimack on Sunday afternoon.
The Warriors jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first 45 minutes of play on goals from Molly Murnane. In the 90th minute, Murnane tallied her third goal of the day to make it a 3-0 game.Â
The Seahawks totaled five shots in the match, with three coming on goal.

Madison Carr each recorded a shot on frame on Warriors goalkeeper Lily Morgan, who recorded a clean sheet.

Sam Hughes had a busy day in net for the Green & White, making 10 saves on 13 shots on goal. Sunday was the second time the sophomore made 10 saves this year, tying her season-high (8/21 vs. Fordham).
Wagner moves to 4-11-0 (2-5-0) on the season. The Seahawks travel to Fairfield, CT to take on Sacred Heart on Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m. for the penultimate game of the regular season.Â
