Staten Island, NY – The Wagner field hockey team will look for their third straight win when they host Quinnipiac University on Sunday afternoon. 


Last Time Out for Wagner…

  • The Seahawks, trailing 1-0 after the first quarter, stormed back to earn their second straight win, defeating Towson, 3-1, on Friday afternoon. 
  • Liselotte Koop netted a goal while adding assists on Agustina DeHarbe's and Natalie Rocuskie's goals. 
  • Julia Cruces Pastorino posted two assists in the win as well. 


Leading the Charge…
  • This was the second straight contest Cruces Pastorino and Koop picked up multiple points in a Seahawks victory.
  • Koop leads the NEC with six assists on the season. 
  • The Hattem, Netherlands native has recorded a point in three straight contests. 
  • The 10 points rank among the top-three in the conference. 
  • Cruces Pastorino ranks in the top five in shots with 21 and is second on the team with six points.
  • Deharbe is second on the team with 15 shots while senior Laura Van Hamburg is third with 11.
  • Koop, Cruces Pastorino, and senior Agustina DeHarbe lead the team with two goals apiece. 


About Quinnipiac…
  • The Bobcats are in search of their first win of the season, as Quinnipiac fell to 0-7-1 after suffering a setback at Big East foe, #22 Old Dominion University, 7-0 on Friday afternoon.
  • Freshman Emilia Massarelli has scored all three goals for Quinnipiac this season as senior Jess Hailey has tallied the lone assist.
  • The Bobcats have used goalie-by-committee through the first eight games of the season as sophomore Nina Santore has started four games while junior Mack Vorel has started three and senior Alicia Galasso has started once.


Next Up For Wagner…
  • The Seahawks will open up Northeast Conference (NEC) play on Friday, October 1st when they travel to Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania for a 3:00 P.M. tilt.
  • The Green & White will then host the University of Vermont in non-conference action on Sunday, October 3rd at noon at the Wagner College Field Hockey Complex before a stretch of three straight conference matches.
