Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College women's soccer team returns home to Hameline Field on Friday, April 2 as the Seahawks take on the Bryant University Bulldogs for Senior Night. 

The opening kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. with the match streamed on NEC Front Row. Wagner will honor seven Seahawks before the contest for Senior Night, as Mattea Reale, Taylor Wasserman, Kerry-Anne Maher, Madison Starr, Mya Donnelly, Julia Fitzsimmons, and captain Le'la Allen will all be recognized. 


SEAHAWK BREAKDOWN...
  • Wagner dropped its most recent contest, 1-0, at Mount St. Mary's on Tuesday. 
  • The Seahawks took ten shots in the contest, six of which finding its way on net. 
  • Mount's Hannaha Cooksey scored the lone goal in the 28th minute. 
  • Reigning NEC Defensive Player of the Week Erin Kelly, made eight stops on the evening. 

ALL-TIME AGAINST BRYANT...
  • Friday's contest marks the 13th all-time meeting between the two squads, with the Bulldogs holding a 8-2-2 advantage in the head-to-head series. 
  • Wagner will be looking to stop a five-match losing streak to Bryant, last picking up a victory against the Bulldogs on October 25, 2013, a 4-3 double overtime win in Smithfield.
  • The Seahawks were last victorious over Bryant on Grymes Hills back on October 15, 2010, winning 2-1, also in double overtime. 

ABOUT THE BULLDOGS...
  • Bryant enters play on Friday evening with a 2-3 overall record and 2-2 in the Northeast Conference (NEC). 
  • The Bulldogs earned a 1-0 triumph over St. Francis Brooklyn in Smithfield, RI back on March 30. 
  • Lexi Kraemer, Madeline Labance and Amanda Spitaieri have all tallied a goal this season for the Bulldogs. 
  • Spitaieri, Chae Diani and Katrina Stangl have each added an assist thus far. 
  • In goal, Meghan Dalton has started in all five games, allowing just five goals (1.01 GAA) while making 26 stops (.839 save percentage).

  • Wagner's home finale is set for Tuesday, April 6, as the Seahawks play host to the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils.
