Queens, NY – The Wagner College men's tennis team dropped its season opener at St. John's, 4-0 decision on Monday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center.

The two teams didn't play a doubles match. 

In singles action, Aryan Gupta rallied in his match at No. 3 singles against Dylan Loru. After dropping the first set, 6-2, Gupta battled in the second set before Loru closed out the match with a 6-3 victory. 

The Seahawks will next be in action on March 14 at Fordham.
