Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College women's tennis team dropped a pair of weekend matches to open up the 2020-21 spring campaign.
 
The Seahawks commenced the year at Big East member, St. John's on Friday afternoon as they competed at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Wagner fell 7-0 to the Red Storm. (Box Score) 
 
On Saturday, the Seahawks opened up Northeast Conference (NEC) action at LIU in Syosset, NY. Wagner dropped a 6-1 decision. Newcomer Gabrielle Perraudin secured her first collegiate win, besting the Sharks' Elinor Storkaas, 6-4, 7-6 (4), 11-9 at No. 4.

The Green & White will next be on the courts on Thursday, March 11, as they will travel to Fairfield for a 2:00 p.m. match.
