Brooklyn, NY – The Wagner College men's basketball team will travel to Brooklyn on Thursday and Friday to take on St. Francis Brooklyn, with tip-off set for 4 pm for both games.
Morales Does It All
Senior
Alex Morales continues to be one of the top players in the Northeast Conference (NEC). Morales leads the conference with 5.57 assists per game, while sitting in 11th in both scoring (15.3 points per game) and rebounding (7.1 per game), as well as eighth in steals (1.71 per game). The senior was named the league's Co-Player of the Week following two stellar performances against LIU. Morales hit the game-winning jumper with three seconds to play to give the Seahawks a 76-74 over the Sharks in the second game of the series while also dishing out 14 assists during the contest.
Dominating The Glass
The Seahawks continue to be a tough, physical team around the basket. Wagner leads the NEC in offensive rebounds with 12.86 offensive rebounds per game, while sitting third in the league with a +2.0 rebounding margin.
Freshmen Find Their Groove

Elijah Allen continue to make an impact. Hunt has started every game for the Seahawks and leads all NEC freshmen in minutes played with 33.14 minutes per game, which is tied for ninth overall in the NEC. Allen remains the top-scoring freshman in the conference at 9.1 points per game while also sitting in eighth in the NEC with 2.0 three-pointers per game.
Taking the Road
Following a series of schedule changes, the Seahawks are scheduled to play five of their next six games on the road after previously playing four straight home games.
The Series
Wagner and St. Francis Brooklyn will square off for the 100
th time in Friday's matchup, with the Terriers leading the all-time series 54-45. The two teams split the season series last year, which included a 75-71 overtime win by the Seahawks in Brooklyn, led by 20-point performances by
Elijah Ford and
Alex Morales.
Scouting The Terriers
St. Francis Brooklyn enters the series with a 4-4 overall record and 4-3 conference mark. The Terriers fell to LIU in the "Battle of Brooklyn" by a score of 102-88, but previously earned series splits against Bryant and CCSU as well as a sweep against Mount St. Mary's.

Following this weekend's series against the Terriers, the Seahawks are scheduled to take on Fairleigh Dickinson on February 11 at the Spiro Sports Center.
