Women's Bowling Wraps Up Day One of NEC #2 Against St. Francis Brooklyn

North Brunswick, NJ - The Wagner College women's bowling team finished the first day of action against St. Francis Brooklyn at the second Northeast Conference (NEC) meet at Bowlero Lanes in North Brunswick, NJ on Friday. 
  
Traditional Match: Wagner 823, St. Francis Brooklyn 980 Baker (Five Game) Total Pinfall: Wagner 833, St. Francis Brooklyn 1,008
  • The Seahawks took game one of the total pinfall five-game match by four pins, 168-164, before their intra-borough rivals rattled off three straight games over 200 (236, 200, and 223) and sealing the victory outshooting Wagner, 185-162. 
Baker Best of Seven Match: Wagner 1, St. Francis Brooklyn 4
  • After dropping the first two games, the Seahawks came back and took game three, 170-135, before St. Francis Brooklyn closed out the match 175-153 in game four and 200-154 in game five.
Baker Averages:
  • Medvetz led the way with a 17.5 average, followed by Miranda at 17.0. 
  • Fetik was next with a 16.6 average to round out the Seahawks' performance this morning. 
Up Next: 
  • The Seahawks continue to play at NEC #2 on Saturday morning as Wagner will take on Sacred Heart.
