HOW IT HAPPENED…
First Quarter…
  • The visitors held an early 6-5 lead following a made layup by Helena Delaruelle at the 7:55 mark.
  • From there, it was all Wagner, as the Green & White erupted on a 14-2 run over the next 2:40, taking a 19-8 lead, as Loceniece hit on her second three-pointer of the quarter.

Second Quarter…
  • The Seahawks carried that momentum into the second quarter, as Cowan dialed it up from the outside, stretching the Wagner lead to 22-8.
  • Krista Grava inched closer to the milestone 1,000 mark, as she was able to bank in the layup and complete the three-point play from the line.
  • The visitors scored seven of the next 13 points, capped off by a layup from Bella Stuart, as the home team was up 31-15, with 4:56 left to play in the first half.
  • Wagner closed out the frame on an 8-2 run, as Krista Grava netted the career milestone with 59.2 left while Katrice Jackson closed the quarter with a pair of made free throws, as the Seahawks took a 21-point lead into the break (39-17).
Third Quarter…
  • Wagner continued to find their rhythm from three-point range, as Loceniece converted on her third straight three-pointer to start the third quarter as Thybulle was credited with her seventh assist in the process.
  • After a driving layup by UNH's Delaruelle, Krista Grava was the first Seahawk to score double-figures in the contest, as her layup off the feed from Thybulle made it 47-20 in favor of the home team.
  • Wagner outscored New Hampshire, 15-12, over the final 5:16 of the quarter, building its largest lead of the game, 62-32, heading into the fourth quarter.

Fourth Quarter…
  • Similar to the third quarter, Loceniece continued her torrid stretch, hitting her fourth three-pointer of the game as the lead increased to 65-32 before Adara Gorman was able to answer back with a layup on the next Wildcats possession.
  • Loceniece joined both Cowan and Krista Grava in double-figures, hitting on her fifth three-pointer of the contest, as the lead swelled to 34, making the score 70-36.
  • New Hampshire closed out the game on a 12-0 run as Wagner picked up its third straight win and second straight at the Spiro Sports Center this season.

UP NEXT...
