Staten Island, NY- The Wagner men's tennis team hosted its first home match of the 2021-22 season on Saturday morning at the College of Staten Island (CSI) Tennis Courts.
The Seahawks were defeated by the Fordham University Rams, 7-0, in non-conference action.
The Rams secured the first point of the overall match by taking two of three in doubles action. The Wagner duo of
Omar Loutfy and
Lucas Darling edged out Juan Paredes and Robert Hagan, 7-6, at No. 3 doubles.
Fordham went on to post wins at all six singles matches to take the overall decision.
Wagner closes out the fall season on Sunday afternoon as they will take on the New Jersey City University Gothic Knights at the CSI Tennis Courts. NJCU will be the home team for this match that will commence at 5:00 p.m.
