Staten Island, NY – The Wagner field hockey team continues Northeast Conference (NEC) action this on Friday afternoon as the Seahawks welcomes Rider to the Wagner College Field Hockey Complex.


Last Time Out…

  • Wagner dropped its most recent contest, 3-2, to Big East members, Villanova on Sunday afternoon. 
  • Senior Julia Cruces Pastorino and junior Kira Mordvinov found the back of the net for the Green & White.
  • For Cruces Pastorino, it was her team-leading ninth goal of the season while Mordvinov got on the scoresheet for the second time this season.
  • The Seahawks outshot the Wildcats 18-10 and held a significant corner advantage, 16-2.
  • Senior goalkeeper Daisy Ruhle and sophomore Erin Franklin split time in between the pipes, combining to make three saves against the Wildcats.

  • Rider comes into Friday's contest sporting a 9-5 record.
  • The Broncs will look to get back in the win column after dropping its most recent contest, 3-0 to Lehigh, on Sunday. 
  • Julia Divorra has anchored the Broncs offense with a conference-leading 11 goals while adding five assists for 27 points.

  • Carly Brosious is tied for the team lead with five assists and second in points (23).
