Staten Island, NY – The Wagner field hockey team will host their first Northeast Conference (NEC) game of the season when they welcome Fairfield University on Friday afternoon.

• Wagner defeated NEC foe Bryant University on Sunday afternoon in overtime, 2-1. Senior Julia Cruces Pastorino scored the winner four minutes into the extra frame after the Green & White outshot the Bulldogs 8-0 in overtime.
• For Cruces Pastorino, it was her second overtime winner of the season.
• Freshman Liselotte Koop continues to rack up points for the Seahawks, she has tallied at least one point in nine straight contests.
• Freshman Emma Lofstedt garnered her first career point on Grymes Hill, setting up the game-winning goal.
• Senior netminder Daisy Ruhle accumulated three saves in the victory.

• Senior Julia Cruces Pastorino took home an NEC Prime Performer for the second week in a row after her game-winning goal against Bryant.
• The Buenos Aires, Argentina native currently ranks second in shots (52), shots per game (4.33), points (21), points per game (1.75), goals (8), goals per game (0.67), assists (5), assists per game (0.42), and game-winning goals (3).
• Freshman Liselotte Koop has taken home NEC Rookie of the Week twice this season. She leads the NEC in assists (9) and assists per game (0.75).
• The Hattam, Netherlands native ranks second in points (21), points per game (1.75), and defensive saves (3), she ranks fourth in goals (6), and goals per game (0.50).
• Senior goalkeeper Daisy Ruhle ranks first in save percentage (.789) and is second in saves (71).
• As a team, Wagner ranks first in assists (26), and assists per game (2.17). The Green & White rank second in scoring margin (0.08), scoring average (2.03), shots (156), shots per game (13.00), goals scored (25), and goals per game (2.08).

• Fairfield enters their contest with Wagner with a 7-6 overall record and looking to extend their two-game winning streak.
• The Stags are the lone unbeaten NEC team in league action, as they sport a 3-0 record. 
• Last weekend, Fairfield posted a pair of shutout victories, blanking Rider, 2-0, and Sacred Heart, 3-0, to move to the top of the league standings. 
• Malen Iglesias has powered the Stags offense and leads the squad in goals (6), points (13), shots (33), and game-winning goals (3).
• Danielle Porfita leads Fairfield in assists with four.
• Zoe Rosen has played the bulk of the games in goal for the Stags as she has notched 66 saves on 84 shots faced.

• Five of the final six games for the Green and White will be played at the Wagner College Field Hockey Complex.
