Staten Island, NY – The Wagner field hockey team will host their first Northeast Conference (NEC) game of the season when they welcome Fairfield University on Friday afternoon. 


Last Time Out…

  • Wagner defeated NEC foe Bryant University on Sunday afternoon in overtime, 2-1. Senior Julia Cruces Pastorino scored the winner four minutes into the extra frame after the Green & White outshot the Bulldogs 8-0 in overtime.
  • For Cruces Pastorino, it was her second overtime winner of the season.
  • Freshman Liselotte Koop continues to rack up points for the Seahawks, she has tallied at least one point in nine straight contests.
  • Freshman Emma Lofstedt garnered her first career point on Grymes Hill, setting up the game-winning goal.
  • Senior netminder Daisy Ruhle accumulated three saves in the victory.

  • Senior Julia Cruces Pastorino took home an NEC Prime Performer for the second week in a row after her game-winning goal against Bryant.
  • The Buenos Aires, Argentina native currently ranks second in shots (52), shots per game (4.33), points (21), points per game (1.75), goals (8), goals per game (0.67), assists (5), assists per game (0.42), and game-winning goals (3).
  • Freshman Liselotte Koop has taken home NEC Rookie of the Week twice this season. She leads the NEC in assists (9) and assists per game (0.75).
  • The Hattam, Netherlands native ranks second in points (21), points per game (1.75), and defensive saves (3), she ranks fourth in goals (6), and goals per game (0.50).
  • Senior goalkeeper Daisy Ruhle ranks first in save percentage (.789) and is second in saves (71).
