SEAHAWKS HOPE TO KEEP MOMENTUM...
- The Seahawks enter this week's matchup with Merrimack with a 3-1 record in Northeast Conference (NEC) play. It is the best start in league play in head coach Heather Jacobs' five seasons and the program's best NEC start since 2001-02.
- Wagner is currently in third-place in the league and according to Staten Island Advance reporter, Carmine Angioli, "is significant because only the top four teams will make the NEC Tournament this season.

- Fifth-year assistant coach, Terrell Coburn, was recently featured by The Ballers Magazine for their "The Coaches Corner" feature.
- Coach Coburn spoke about transitioning from working as a graduate assistant to being a full-time assistant coach, the progression of Wagner's success, times of adversity and key lessons learned, and how basketball has impacted his life.
A 180 FOR COACH JACOBS...
- In the first game of the Seahawks' two-game series at LIU, Wagner earned a 57-50 victory over the Sharks.
- The win marked the 180th career coaching victory for head coach Heather Jacobs.
- Additionally, with Wagner completing the season sweep of LIU, Coach Jacobs improves to 6-4 all-time against the Sharks.
FAST START TO CONFERENCE PLAY...
- Wagner is off to its best Northeast Conference (NEC) start since the 2001-02 season, as the Seahawks are 3-1 in league play thus far.
- Since 1998-99, the Green & White have won a minimum of three games on four occasions, the last coming back in 2001-02, when the team started 3-1 and finished the year 14-15 and 11-7 in conference action.
- The best start in recent memory for the program came in 1998-99, when the team started 4-0 in conference games en route to a 16-12 overall record and a 13-7 mark in the circuit.

BENCH PRODUCTION...
- Wagner's bench has outscored its opponents, 80-56 over the last four games, in which the Seahawks are 3-1.
- The Green & White have averaged 20 points per game while their opponents are netting 14 points per game.
SCOUTING THE WARRIORS...
- Merrimack opened its season at Fairleigh Dickinson, dropping both contests.
- Last season marked the first-ever meeting between the two programs as Merrimack secured a 55-44 victory at Hammel Court. Emilija Krista Grava led the Wagner offense with 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 30 minutes of action.
- The Warriors dropped the finale on Jan. 24, 73-64, despite getting 19 points from Kate Mager and 17 from Diamond Christian.
- Kelly Morrone is in her first season at the helm of the Warriors after racking up 117 career victories at Division III member, John Carroll University. Coach Morrone went 45-12 over the final two seasons before accepting the head coaching gig at Merrimack, which includes a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
- Christian (16.0 ppg) and Mager (11.0 ppg) pace the Warriors' offense. Christian is currently the second-leading scorer in the conference while Mager ranks fourth in three-point field goal percentage at 50.0 percent. She is a career 40.5 percent shooter from the outside.
- Autumn Truesdale currently leads Merrimack at 8.5 rebounds per game while Christian is the team's leading distributor at 3.0 assists per game.
- Collectively, the Warriors are averaging 56.0 points per game on 40.5 percent shooting from the field.
- Merrimack ranks third, behind Wagner, in three-point field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to just 30.0 percent marksmanship from beyond-the-arc.

- Wagner is slated for its home opener on Thursday, February 4 and Friday, February 5 as the Seahawks will take on St. Francis Brooklyn.
