CONFERENCE RECOGNITION CONTINUES
Juniors
Malia Josephson and
Katherine Campbell garnered Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) recognition after strong performances this past weekend in Lewisburg, extending the Seahawks streak of two weekly conference awards to three.
Josephson was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week after leading a Wagner offense that has continued to find its stride. Campbell, who continues to hold a Wagner defense together that has begun to show its true potential, was awarded with MAAC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time this season. Through four games in the Bison Invitational, the Regina, Saskatchewan native stopped 15 shots and grabbed a team leading nine steals in only 12 quarters of action.
