Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College field hockey team will look for the weekend split of its homestand, as lining up against them will be the Lehigh Mountain Hawks, who will enter the game with a record of 4-1.

LAST TIME OUT FOR WAGNER...
Friday saw a familiar story arc for the Seahawks. They were defensively sound and very competitive against a tough opponent, but a slew of goals in very quick succession would be their undoing. They fell to the Yale Bulldogs by a score of 6-0, after allowing five first half goals, three of which were scored within two minutes and 23 seconds of each other. Wagner was outshot 23-9 in the game, but were led with four shots a piece by freshman defender Gabriella Dudek and freshman midfielder Hannah Meyer. Graduate goalkeeper Annabel Zandvoort and freshman goalkeeper Justine Van Spengler split time in goal, recording five and three saves, respectively.

ABOUT LEHIGH...
The Mountain Hawks are led by a slew of returning players, including senior Lenke Havas and sophomore Olivia Perrone, who both earned All-Patriot League honors last season. They are coming into this matchup with a record or 4-1, having defeated Colgate by the score of 2-1 on Saturday in Hamilton, NY. Offensively, the Mountain Hawks are led by junior forwards Drew Pecora and Anna Lehman, who have combined for eight goals and two assists so far on the season. In goal for Lehigh will be freshman Maddie Kahn, who was named to the US U-19 team this summer, she is averaging six saves per game and has a save percentage of 83%.

NEXT UP FOR WAGNER...
The Seahawks will be back in action next Sunday in Albany, NY taking on the No. 17 Albany Great Danes at 1:00 pm. The action will be available on America East TV.
