Karen Prihoda became the third Sehawk ever to record 200 career base hits and junior
Kaila Smith hit two home runs to lead the Wagner College softball team to a sweep over Rider on Saturday afternoon.
The Seahawks recorded a 12-5 comeback win in game one before earning an 8-3 victory in the second game of the afternoon.
With the two wins, Wagner improves to 10-17 on the season, while the Broncs fall to 4-26 this year.

Prihoda reached her milestone in the fifth inning with a single to center field and the Seahawks turned the game upside down by scoring nine runs in the top half of the seventh inning.
Trailing 5-3 and down to their last three outs, Wagner capitalized on two errors by the Broncs to tie the game and took a 6-5 lead on a ground rule double by Smith.

Jessica Carlucci extended the lead to 9-5 and forced the Broncs to change pitchers.

Rider had taken a 3-0 lead on two runs in the second and one in the third, before Smith launched her first home run of the day, a long shot to left field that tied the game at 3-3.
The Broncs took a 5-3 lead in the bottom half of the sixth, before the Seahawk offense took over and earned the win.

Eve Harvey tossed six innings in earning the victory and improving to 3-3 on the year, while senior
Ciera Luna threw one inning in relief.
As a team, the Seahawks combined for 12 hits as Smith led the team with two hits and four RBIs.

The 201
st hit of
Karen Prihoda's career gave Wagner the early lead in the second game of the afternoon, as the senior's RBI double to left center field scored Bender to put Wagner in front 1-0 in the top of the third.
Rider answered with one run in each of the fourth and fifth innings, but the Seahawk offense once again struck big.
In the top of the sixth, an RBI single by
Hannah Lewis and an RBI groundout by sophomore
Alexis Silinonte gave Wagner the 3-2 advantage.
After a wild pitch brought home another run, Bender singled to make it 5-2 in favor of the Seahawks.
Rider closed the gap by scoring another run in the sixth, but Wagner added three insurance runs in the top of the seventh.
A towering two-run home run by Smith and an RBI single by Lewis put the game away and secured the sweep for the Green and White.
Freshman
Kayla Hooks earned the victory in the circle, allowing just six hits in earning her team-leading fourth win of the season.
The Seahawks out-hit Rider 9-7 as Prihoda and Lewis both recorded two hits to lead the team.
Wagner returns to action tomorrow, as the Seahawks take on Bryant for two Northeast Conference games, starting at noon.
