Lewisburg, PA – The No. 18 ranked Wagner women's water polo downed Saint Francis U 22-3 before defeating Gannon 17-3 on Saturday to kick off the Bison Invite.
After two wins today, head coach Chris Radmonovich is just one victory away from his 200th career coaching win. The ninth-year head coach now holds a career record of 199-97 (.672).
Wagner 22, SFU 3:
The Seahawks took control from the beginning of the game and did not look back. Eight members of the Green & White squad registered goals in the win.
Freshman
Sofia Diaz Alvarez notched a career high, finding the back of the net seven times to lead Wagner's offense. Sophomore
Daisy Nankervis compiled four goals while senior captain
Erica Hardy tallied a hat trick of her own.
Redshirt junior
Kristy Donkin, freshman Kristen Sacyznski and reigning MAAC Rookie of the week Philippa Nash each scored two goals apiece in the victory.

Abby Irving and sophomore
Savannah Henshaw each added one goal, respectively.
Wagner 17, Gannon 3:
Junior
Jacqui Sjogren opened the game with a goal, converting on the counterattack to put the Green & White up 1-0. Just moments later, Sjogren drew an exclusion for a power-play opportunity and the capitalized to give Wagner a 2-0 lead.
Nankervis secured her first goal of the game on the Seahawks second six-on-five chance. Donkin snuck one past Gannon's Isabelle
Vieira with a no-look goal before the sound of the horn for a 4-0 Green & White lead.
Diaz Alvarez dished a cross pass to Donkin who found the back of the net before the Golden Knights netted their first goal of the game. Diaz Alvarez registered back to back goals, the second of which was a five meter penalty shot drawn by Nankervis.
Hardy grabbed a steal to help sophomore
Malia Josephson capitalize on a counterattack for her first tally of the game for an 8-1 Seahawk lead at the end of the first half.
To open the third stanza, Diaz Alvarez scored two more goals along with one more for Nankervis. Gannon scored its second of the game to end the third period with a score of 11-2.
Hardy stole and dished another assist to Sjogren who secured a hat trick with her third goal. Donkin, Sjogren, Nash, junior

Natalie Kayton each added one tally apiece for a final score of 17-3.
The 6-4 Seahawks resume play tomorrow, Sunday February 10, with a 9:20 a.m. match against Bucknell before squaring off against Harvard at 1:20 p.m. Radmonovich will reach his 200 win milestone if Wagner emerges victorious in just one of final two games at the Bucknell Invite.
