Staten Island, NY – Head football coach
Jason Houghtaling has announced that nine student-athletes have signed national letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at Wagner College.
These nine are in addition to five future Seahawks who joined the Wagner program during the early signing period back in December and two mid-year transfers, who are already enrolled at Wagner and set to take part in spring practice and compete as graduate students in the fall of 2019. In total, Wagner has signed 16 student-athletes.
'I'm excited about this group and salute our coaching staff for their hard work in attracting these young men to Wagner College," said head coach
Jason Houghtaling, who will enter his fifth season at the helm of the Seahawk program in 2019. "They're all quality individuals with the potential to develop into outstanding student-athletes here on Grymes Hill."
Additional student-athletes are expected to be announced at later dates as they become cleared for release through the athletic department's compliance office.
