Lewisburg, PA – The No. 18 ranked Wagner women's water polo defeated host No. 24 Bucknell 13-3 before falling to Harvard  on Sunday to conclude the Bison Invite with a 3-1 record on the weekend.

With the 13-3 win over Bucknell, head coach Chris Radmonovich reached his 200th career coaching win. The ninth-year head coach now holds a career record of 200-97 (.673). No. 18 Wagner 13, No. 24 Bucknell 3:
The Green & White jumped out to a 5-1 lead after the first eight minutes of play off of goals from senior captain Erica Hardy (2), redshirt junior Kristy Donkin (2) and sophomore Daisy Nankervis (1).

In the second stanza, Hardy netted her third goal of the game while freshman Sofia Diaz Alvarez found the back of the net twice for an 8-3 Seahawk lead over the Bison.

Diaz Alvaresz kicked off the second half with back to back goals, securing a hat trick plus one. Wagner held Bucknell scoreless in both the third and fourth periods. Nankervis, junior Jacqui Sjogren and sophomore Savannah Henshaw tallied one goal apiece to ensure the victory for the Green & White.

No. 17 Harvard 11, No. 18 Wagner 10:
Back and forth play proved to be the theme in the second matchup of the day for the Seahawks as the first quarter ended in a 2-2 stalemate between the two nationally ranked opponents.

Henshaw was the first to strike followed by a goal from Nankervis on the overpass from six to one to capitalize on the power-play opportunity.

Harvard took the lead before the end of the first half, scoring five goals in the second period to Wagner's three. Diaz Alvarez, Hardy, and sophomore Malia Josephson each contributed one goal, respectively in the second quarter.

Nankervis and Diaz Alvarez scored back to back goals to tie the game up at 7-7 in the beginning of the third stanza. Donkin converted on the counterattack to put the Green & White up by one.

Hardy drew an exclusion which allowed Diaz Alvarez to register her third tally. Moments later, Harvard scored twice to tie the game at 9-9 before the sound of the third horn.

The Crimson found the back of the net first in the final quarter. Diaz Alvarez struck for a fourth time after an exclusion drawn by Hardy to make the score 10-10.

After a timeout called by Harvard, the Crimson scored to go up by one with 47 seconds left on the clock. As time ran out, Harvard's one goal advantage allowed the Crimson to earn the 11-10 win over the Seahawks.

Following a lull in competition, Wagner will be back in action in Bloomington, IN, at the Indiana Invitational on March 2-3.
