New Haven, CT – The Seahawks will continue Northeast Conference (NEC) play on Saturday against the Sacred Heart Pioneers at 1:00 pm.
 
LAST TIME OUT FOR WAGNER…
In their last matchup, the Seahawks dropped a hard-fought 3-1 decision to the No. 24 Fairfield Stags. Both teams held the other scoreless for the first three quarters, however, the Stags broke through a little under a minute into the fourth quarter. They would follow it up with two more goals in the final stanza, before Hannah Meyer put Wagner on the board with her fourth goal of the season with a minute remaining.

The Green & White outshot the Stags 15-11, including nine shots on goal to Fairfield's five, marking the first time this season that the Seahawks have been able to outshoot their opponents. 
 
ABOUT SACRED HEART:
The Pioneers are coming into this matchup donning an overall record of 4-12. After starting the year 1-11, Sacred Heart has won three out of their last four games, including two conference wins over Merrimack and Bryant.

The Pioneers are led by a core of attacking players, that includes five different players with seven or more points on the season. Leading the way, is Colleen McAninley, who leads the team in goals with five and points with 11. Other notable weapons include, Makenna Crawford, second on the team with four goals, Kayla Kruk, second on the team in points with nine, and Kelsey Hopkins, who leads the team with five assists.

In goal, the Pioneers are led by Hailey Power, who has allowed 41 goals in 16 games, recording a 2.78 goals against average, as well as a save percentage over 77%.  Following the Seahawks, Sacred Heart will travel to Lawrenceville, NJ on Friday, November 1 to take on the Rider Broncs in their NEC finale.

The Seahawks will return home for their regular season finale on Friday, November 1, taking on the Merrimack Warriors at 3:00 pm.
