Providence, RI – The Seahawks will close out their weekend Northeast Conference (NEC) road trip on Sunday afternoon as they will square off against Bryant.
LAST TIME OUT FOR WAGNER...
The Green & White dropped a tightly contested 2-1 decision against the LIU Sharks on Friday afternoon. LIU scored five minutes into the contest as Taylor Brodsky was the beneficiary of a pass from freshman Alexis Ruiz. In the early moments of the second half, LIU extended its lead as Kaitlyn Olton notched her sixth goal of the season on a pass by Jonna Klein-Holte. Kira Mordvinov found the back of the cage after a pass from
Elena Andreyev. Wagner continued to apply pressure but failed to find another score.
ABOUT BRYANT...
The Bulldogs come into Sunday's contest looking to snap a nine-match losing streak, as Bryant is 1-12 on the season and looking for their first conference win of the season. Bryant has netted six goals in total on the season, which includes three goals in their last four games. Freshman Taryn Rauff has scored all six tallies. In goal, the Bulldogs are led by sophomore Marjin Jaarsma, who is among the top three in the conference with over 70 saves.
