Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College women's soccer team finished the 2017-18 academic year with the highest team GPA among all Seahawk athletic teams.
The women's soccer squad, under the direction of second-year head coach
Phil Casella, combined for a 3.70 GPA in the spring semester to finish the academic year with a 3.63 overall GPA.
Individually, goalkeeper
Delaney Beck was recognized with the Seahawks' Spring 2018 All-Academic Award for women's soccer with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Overall, 331 Seahawk student-athletes had 3.0 GPAs or better during the 2018 spring semester, with 42 student-athletes earning a perfect 4.0 GPA.
As a department, Wagner student-athletes combined for a 3.23 overall GPA during the 2017-18 academic year.
