Princeton, NJ – The No. 12-ranked Wagner women's water polo team defeated No. 21 Harvard 13-9 to conclude the first day of the two-day Princeton Invite.
The first period was a back-and-forth battle between the teams ending in a 2-2 even draw with junior attack and senior attack

The Green & White pulled ahead, led by senior utility
Kimberly Watson who notched a whopping four goals in just the second stanza alone. Freshman utility Kristy Donkin and sophomore attack
Jacqui Sjogren each found the back of the net once before the end of the first half with the Seahawks leading the Crimson 8-5.

Elise Begg secured goals for Wagner to keep the lead, 10-6, entering into the fourth and final period. Malia Josephson notched her first career goal in the final eight minutes of play, while senior captain
Lacey Anderson tallied one goal and Watson put the finishing touches on her double hat trick adding one more goal to make it six for her.
Prior to the Seahawk-Crimson contest, the Green & White battled a Chinese National Select team for the first time in program history. The match ended in a dead even draw at 12-12 with three Seahawks registering hat tricks in Watson, freshman utility Daisy Nankervis, and junior attack
Erica Hardy. Donkin also netted two goals, while rookie attack Allison Long found the back of the net once.

Wagner is back in action tomorrow, February 18, as the Seahawks face George Washington at 8:00 a.m. and Bucknell at 10:45 a.m. to conclude the Princeton Invite
