Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College women's tennis team dropped its final Northeast Conference (NEC) regular season contest, a 6-1 decision to the Bryant University Bulldogs on Friday afternoon.

With the loss, the Seahawks fell to 9-8 overall and 3-4 in league play while the Bulldogs improved to 5-12 and 4-1 in conference tilts.

The Seahawks were competitive in every match on the afternoon, despite the final results. Senior Madison Pautsch (Costa Mesa, CA/Edison) picked up the lone victory for the Green & White on the afternoon, defeating Brianna Leonard, 6-4, 4-6, 11-9 at No. 6 en route to her ninth singles victory of the year.
