Women's Tennis Blanked By Drexel On Saturday Afternoon

Philadelphia, PA - The Wagner women's tennis team was shutout on Saturday afternoon, falling to Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) member, Drexel, 4-0.

With the loss, the Seahawks stand at 7-3 on the season while the Dragons improve to 11-3 on the year. 

Drexel took No. 1 and No. 2 doubles by an identical 6-1 tally. No. 3 doubles went unfinished as the pairing of  junior Carolyn Gibson (San Marcos, CA/ IMG Academy (FL)) and senior Madison Pautsch (Costa Mesa, CA/Edison) were leading Fiorella Coria/Jennifer White, 4-3.   In singles action., the Dragons clinched three matches to secure the overall win. 

The Seahawks travel to New Haven, CT to take on the Sacred Heart University Pioneers in a Northeast Conference (NEC) match, held on the campus of Yale University.
