2016 NCAA D1 Northeast Regional Results (Women's Race)
Bronx, NY - The Wagner women's cross country team ran at the 2016 NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Championship, hosted by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) at Van Cortlandt Park on Friday.
For the women's 6K race, freshmen
Sara Carney (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph Hill HS) and
Allison Santorelli (Staten Island, NY/Tottenville), along with senior
Brietta Wilson (Neptune, NJ/Neptune) ran for the Seahawks.
Carney crossed the finish line with a time of 23:55.60 while Wilson clocked in with a time of 25:09.10 and Santorelli rounded out the trio's performance with a time of 26:03.30.
The Seahawks will next compete at the very same Van Cortlandt Park on November 19 for the 2016 IC4A Cross Country Championships.
