Nicole Bell (Branchville, NJ/ Sussex County Technical) placed ninth to pace the Seahawks at the 21
st Annual Monmouth XC Invitational for the Seahawks.
Bell crossed the finish line at 19:41.8 to lead the Green & White to a fourth place finish as Monmouth and Rutgers tied for first.
A pair of seniors;
Danielle Iacampo (Staten Island, NY/ St. John Villa) and
Laynee Viniotis (Bellevue, WA/ Sammish) crossed next for the Green & White as Iacampo claimed 25th with Viniotis taking 31st. Iacampo recorded a mark of 20:36.9 and Viniotis registered a time of 21:01.2.
Junior
Brietta Wilson (Neptune, NJ/ Neptune) came in 51st with a time 33:11.6 while junior
Florina Jajaga rounded out the squad placing 64
th with a time 27:12.8.
The Green & White are back in action on September 26th as they will compete in the Leeber Invitational.
