Women's Soccer To Honor 9-11 Prior To Today's Contest

Staten Island, NY - The Wagner women's soccer team begins its four-game homestand tomorrow at Hameline Field when it hosts UMass Lowell today at 3:00 p.m.
 
Prior to tomorrow's matchup, the Seahawks will pay tribute to 9-11 with the singing of the national anthem by Gabby Tricorico while members of the NYPD Honor Guard will present the colors.
 
Wagner is coming off of a 1-1 draw on the road at Delaware State University Friday evening. Junior midfielder Megan Fritz (Cape Coral, FL / Mariner) netted her third goal of the season off of an assist by Taylor Sackaris (St. James, NY / Smithtown East) in the 10th minute of the contest.
 
UMass Lowell arrives on Grymes Hill looking for its first win of the season after dropping a 1-0 decision to Lafayette College on Friday evening. With the loss, the River Hawks fall to 0-5-0 on the year.
