Flushing, NY – Wagner swept all three doubles and all six singles matches en route to posting 7-0 win over Northeast Conference (NEC) foe, St. Francis Brooklyn at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
The Seahawks, who picked up their fifth straight win, improve to 5-1 and 2-0 in conference play while the Terriers fall to 0-7 on the year and 0-2 in league matches.
Wagner secured the first point of the match as they yielded just two points en route to taking the doubles point. Junior
Marina Rull Valvieso (Barcelona, Spain/IES Antony Cumella (Tarleton State)) and sophomore
Madison Pautsch (Costa Mesa, CA/Edison) picked up their fifth straight win out of the #1 position, as they defeated Jennifer Gonzalez and De'Zhane Bennett, 8-0. Junior
Jenna Harris (Fountain Hills, AZ/Fountain Hills) and newcomer
Carolyn Gibson (Winderemere, FL/IMG Academy) defeated the duo of Dragana
Dzigurski and Jovana Bojinovic, 8-2.
In the final doubles match of the day, freshman
Samantha Hodges (Encinitas, CA/San Dieguito Academy) and senior
Rachel Jurgielewicz (Downingtown, PA/Downingtown East) cruised to a 8-0 triumph against Rebecca Mares and Jovana Ciric.
All six Seahawks posted straight set victories to record their fifth straight win of the season.

th as they travel to Philadelphia, PA to take on Drexel University.
