ResultsChampionship HeadquartersSmithfield, RI – The Wagner women's cross country team finished sixth at the 2015 Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship held on the campus of Bryant University.
Sacred was crowned the league champions for the third consecutive season as Central Connecticut's Brittany Mendelson grabbed the individual title.
Junior
Nicole Bell (Branchville, NJ/ Sussex County Technical) was awarded with All-NEC honors after an impressive showing in the 5k championship race. Bell nabbed fourth place after crossing the finish line with a time of 18:19.9.
Senior
Danielle Iacampo (Staten Island, NY/ St. John Villa) claimed 17th with a mark of 18:48.8 to improve on her 33rd place finish from a season ago.
Fellow senior
Laynee Viniotis (Bellevue, WA/ Sammamish) placed 37th as she recorded a time of 19:45.0.
Sophomore
Maria Scalici (Staten Island, NY/ Susan E. Wagner) along with junior
Florina Jajaga (Staten Island, NY/ Port Richmond/ Holy Family) rounded out the squad for the Seahawks. Scalici placed 58th with a mark of 21:42.6 while Jajaga claimed 66th with a time of 24:04.1
