LAST TIME OUT FOR WAGNER…- Freshman guard Corey Henson (Upper Marlboro, MD/DeMatha Catholic) tossed in 15 points and junior forward Stedman Allen (Bronx, NY/Labette CC-KS) nearly hit for a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds but it was not enough to offset a balanced Saint Francis U squad, led by Earl Brown's game-high 20 points, as the Red Flash secured an 85-68 victory in the NEC opener on Saturday.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS…- The Mountaineers are the defending Northeast Conference champions. After defeating St. Francis Brooklyn in the quarterfinals and Wagner in the semifinals, the Mount secured the automatic NCAA bid by defeating Robert Morris in Moon Township before falling to UAlbany in the NCAA First Four a season ago.

- Andrew Smeathers is the team's leading scorer at 10.3 points per game, despite playing in just four games this season, after sitting out last season after transferring from Butler University.
