This will be the 40th all-time meeting between the schools with Wagner holding a slim 20-19 advantage, after taking two of the three meetings a season ago, including an 83-59 triumph in the quarterfinal round of the 2014 NEC Tournament at the Spiro Sports Center.

LAST TIME OUT FOR WAGNER...- Senior guard Marcus Burton (Charlotte, NC/David W. Butler) continued his torrid scoring streak with a game-high 23 points while freshman guard Corey Henson (Upper Marlboro, MD/DeMatha Catholic) tossed in a career-high 18 points as the Seahawks earned a hard-fought 63-58 Northeast Conference (NEC) victory over Saint Francis U on Thursday night the Spiro Sports Center.
- For Burton, it marked his 43rd career double-figure scoring game, eighth career 20-point performance, sixth on the season, and took place in his 100th career game 25th career start. The Charlotte, NC native finished 7-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, in 35 minutes of action. Now up to 934 career points scored, the fourth-year guard needs is just 66 away from becoming the 42nd member of the Wagner 1,000-point club
- Henson, who tallied 13 of his 18 points in the first half, shot an efficient 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-5 to start, en route to finishing the contest 7-of-12 and tying his career-high of four made three-pointers (on six attempts)
- Junior forward Stedman Allen (Bronx, NY/Labette) and sophomore forward Greg Senat (Elmont, NY/Elmont) combined for 12 points 10 rebounds with Allen grabbing a team-leading six caroms.
SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS…- Central Connecticut enters this evening's contest looking to stop an 11-game losing streak after falling most recently to NEC-leading St. Francis Brooklyn, 63-51, at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday evening.
- The Blue Devils, who ranked seventh in the NEC in Three-Point Field Goal Percentage Defense (34.9%), held the Terriers to just 18.2% shooting from beyond the arc, their fourth-lowest three-point shooting total of the season.
- CCSU is is led by dynaminc 6-1 sophomore guard Matt Mobley, who is the second-leading scorer in the conference at 17.3 points per game, trailing only Wagner' Marcus Burton (17.9).
- In conference-only contests, Mobley has tallied 16.1 points per game, good for fifth among his NEC peers
- Faronte Drakeford, a 6-7 senior forward, is the team's second-leading scorer at 12.2 points per game while pulling down 6.8 rebounds a contest (good for sixth in the NEC).
ALL-TIME AGAINST CENTRAL CONNECTICUT…- Wagner is 20-19 all-time against the Blue Devils.
- Wagner and Central Connecticut have been pitted against each other in the last three NEC Quarterfinals matchups.
- The Seahawks have won the four of the last five meetings against the Blue Devils, including last season's NEC Quarterfinal matchup
