Hackensack, NJ - The Wagner men's basketball team will look for its first road victory of the season at Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in the second game of a doubleheader with the Seahawk and Knight women's teams set to meet at 1:00 p.m.
This will be the 88
th all-time meeting between the Seahawks and the Knights with FDU holding a 45-42 lead in the head-to-head matchup. Wagner has taken the last seven meeting against the Knights, which includes last season's sweep (February 24; 67-64 at FDU) and (February 6; 75-68 at Wagner).

LAST TIME OUT FOR WAGNER...- Senior guard Marcus Burton (Charlotte, NC/David W. Butler) poured in a game-high 31 points but the Bryant University Bulldogs opened up an 18-point second-half lead before thwarting a late Seahawk rally en route to an 81-73 win tonight at the Chace Athletic Center.
- The 6-0 Burton, fresh off of garnering Honorable Mention accolades from the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA), scored 18 of his 31 points in the first half while finishing 10-of-23 from the floor, including 5-of-10 from beyond-the-arc.The five made threes tied a career high for the fourth-year guard, matching the in five treys he made back on November 18, 2013 vs. Coppin State while the 10 attempts tie a career-best set this November in the home opener against SUNY Old Westbury.
- Freshman guard Romone Saunders (Temple Hills, MD/Mt. Zion Prep) produced his fourth straight double-figure scoring game and seventh in his last 10 games, hitting for 10 points in 26 minutes of play, while classmate Corey Henson (Upper Marlboro, Maryland/DeMatha Catholic) added nine.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS...- Fairleigh Dickinson is in the midst of a three-game losing streak after the Knights dropped their most recent conference tilt, 71-51, to defending Northeast Conference champion on Thursday vs. Mount St. Mary's. Previously, the Knights were on a three-game winning streak that was stopped by St. Francis Brooklyn on January 8.
- Two Knights are averaging double-figures, led by Mustafaa Jones, who is averaging 13.8 ppg, which is good for seventh in the conference. Teammate Darian Anderson checks in at11.3 ppg, which is good for third among all NEC freshmen.
- Fairleigh Dickinson, which was picked ninth in the NEC Preseason Poll, is right in the mix for a playoff spot as the Knights currently occupy the sixth spot, tied with LIU Brooklyn and the Seahawks with all three teams sporting 2-3 conference marks.

ALL-TIME AGAINST THE KNIGHTS...- This afternoon's contest is the 88th all-time meeting between the two teams, with FDU leading the head-to-head matchup 45-42.
- Wagner is riding a seven game win streak over the Knights and winners of eight of the last 10 matchups against Fairleigh Dickinson.
