Staten Island, NY - Wagner swept all three doubles and all six singles matches en route to posting a dominating 7-0 win over St. Francis Brooklyn at the Wagner Tennis Courts.
The Seahawks improve to 2-1 and 1-0 in the Northeast Conference (NEC) while the Terriers fall to 0-2 and 0-1 in the league.

Sarah Dionisio (East Yaphank, NY / Longwood) easily posted an 8-0 victory at No. 1 while junior
Marina Rull Valvieso (Barcelona, Spain / Tarleton State) and sophomore
Madison Pautsch (Costa Mesa, CA / Edison) matched the duo with an 8-0 win at No. 2. Senior
Rachel Jurgielewicz (Downingtown, PA / Downingtown East) and junior
Jenna Harris (Fountain Hills, AZ / Fountain Hills) capped the sweep with an 8-0 blanking at No. 3.
Hodges (No. 1), Rull Valvieso (No. 2), Dionisio (No. 3), Jurgielewicz (No. 5) and senior
Kari Rezac (Wichita, KS / Maize) at No. 6 all recorded 6-0, 6-0 victories while Pautsch notched a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4.
Wagner returns to action on Monday, September 29 at Monmouth.
