Diana Saber (Syosset, NY / Syosset) stepped up in a big way tonight when she scored the first goal of the game off of a failed attempt by the opposing goalie in the 46th minute and later assisted on the game-tying goal as Wagner and Hartford played to a 2-2 tie after double overtime.
Wagner is now 3-2-1 on the year while the Hawks are 2-1-3 on the year.

Johanna Konrad (Volkach, Germany / LSH) scored in the 65th minute. knotting the game at 2-2.
The game's initial goal, by Saber, came just 58 seconds into the second half after the team's had played a scoreless opening stanza. The Seahawk lead was short-lived, however, as Hartford's Chanel Johnson answered with an unassisted tally just 22 seconds later to forge a 1-1 tie. The Hawks seized a 2-1 lead at the 58:36 mark when Erica Primovic headed the ball into the goal off of a Johnson assist. Konrad then sank the equalizer at 64:42, which proved to be the game's final score.

Katie Marcy (Bellmore, NY / John F. Kennedy) came up with five saves in a game where Hartford held a 21-7 advantage in shots.
Wagner will return to action on Sunday, September 14 at home against Delaware State in a 1:00 p.m. start.
