Lincroft, NJ - After missing all of last season due to injury, senior Victoria Spector (Yaphank, NY / Longwood) bounced back in a big way finishing 11th in a team-best 15:32.9 at the 4K Monmouth XC Kick-Off at Thompson Park.

Thanks to Spector's impressive performance, Wagner placed fourth in the five-team field with 81 points. Host Monmouth won the meet with 26 points with Lafayette's Stephanie Benko capturing the individual crown with a mark of 14:48.7.

Sophomore Nicole Bell (Branchville, NJ / Sussex County Technical) continued on her impressive rookie campaign by crossing the line 16th (15:49.8) before junior Danielle Iacampo (Staten Island, NY / St. John Villa) placed 21st (15:59.1).

Junior Lorraine Brancale (Staten Island, NY / NYU) finished fourth on the squad and 23rd overall in 16:02.4 with senior Heather Wolf (Pine Brook, NJ / Montville Township) taking 29th with a mark of 16:14.3.

The Seahawks will not race next weekend and will next be in action on Saturday, September 13 at the 5K LIU Post Invitational.
