The Seahawks and Leopards are facing each other for the seventh time in the last eight seasons, with the only break in the series coming in 2012-2013.

LAST TIME OUT...- After leading by three with 1:06 to go in overtime, Wagner's chance at its first road victory of the season slipped away on Zarko Valjarevic's buzzer-beater from the left baseline as the Seahawks fell to the Maine Black Bears, 82-81on Tuesday evening at the Cross Insurance Center.
- Three Seahawks finished in double-figures, led by senior guard Marcus Burton (Charlotte, NC/David W. Butler), who poured in a career-high 25 points. Junior forward Mike Aaman (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan), a rugged 6-8 transfer from Rhode Island who was playing his second game as a Seahawk, recorded Wagner's first double-double of the season, with 15 points and a team-leading 11 rebounds in 33 minutes of action. Freshman guard Corey Henson (Upper Marlboro, MD/DeMatha Catholic) added 10 points and four assists.
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS....- Wagner enters Saturday's contest with a 2-4 overall record and looking for their first win away from the Spiro Center this season (0-4 on the road)
- Senior guard Marcus Burton is the team's leading scorer at 15.3 points per game. The fourth-year guard ranks is currently fourth in the NEC in scoring and ranks among the top-100 seniors in the entire NCAA in this category.
- Freshman guard JoJo Cooper (Wilmington, DE/Concord) is the conference's leading distributor, averaging 4.7 assists per contest. The first-year point guard ranks tenth among all-Division I newcomers in assists.
- Fellow classmate Aaren Edmead (Deer Park, NY/Deer Park) ranks fifth among All-Northeast Conference rookies in scoring at 8.5 points per game. Joining Edmead is classmates Corey Henson (Upper Marlboro, MD/DeMatha Catholic) and Cooper, who occupy spots six and seven, respectivel at 8.0 and 7.5 points a game.
- As a whole, the Seahawks' bench have outscored their opponents, 178-107, which translates to the reserves averaging 29.7 points while yielding just 17.8 from their opponents' reserves.
- The Seahawks have scored 80 or more points twice this season while splitting both decisions (season-high 83 points against SUNY Old Westbury and 81 points in defeat at Maine in overtime).
SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS...- Lafayette comes into today's contest sporting a 4-2 record and winners three of four. A season ago, the Leopards finished 10-19 overall, 6-12 in the Patriot League, defeating Loyola (MD), 84-71, in the First Round of the Patriot League Tournament before falling to top-seeded Boston University, 91-54, in the quarterfinals.
- Wagner is one of four Northeast Conference (NEC) members on the Leopards' 2014-2015 schedule. Lafayatte earned a 77-50 win at Robert Morris (11/14) in the season opener posted an 82-61 road win at Fairleigh Dickinson (11/30) last time out. Following the matchup with the Seahawks, the Leopards will face their fourth and final NEC for on Monday, December 8 when they host Sacred Heart.
ALL-TIME AGAINST LAFAYETTE...- This afternoon's contest marks the 10th all-time meeting between two schools with the Leopards holding a 6-3 edge in the head-to-head matchup.
- These two teams have played in seven out-of-the last eight seasons with Lafayette holding a 4-3 advantage.
- Last season, these two teams were matched up on Staten Island at the Spiro Center with the Leopards leaving with 77-65 victory over the Seahawks.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE PATRIOT LEAGUE...- Wagner holds a 41-38 all-time mark against the Patriot League
- The lone teams that the Seahawks haven't [played from the conference are Colgate, Holy Cross and Navy
- This afternoon's contest with Lafayette is the lone meeting of the season against a Patriot League member for the Seahawks.
LAST MEETING BETWEEN THE TWO...- Lafayette broke open a close game with an 18-2 run early in the first half and never trailed the rest of the way en route to posting a 77-65 victory over Wagner in non-conference action at the Spiro Sports Center.
- In defeat, Jay Harris scored a career-high 23 points with a team-best five rebounds while Latif Rivers and Kenneth Ortiz combined to score 25 points with Ortiz dishing out three assists and swiping two steals.
