New Britain, CT - The Wagner women's cross country team placed 10th out of 17 Division I teams at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet on Saturday.
Boston College won the race, recording 52 points, while Providence's Brianna Ilarda registered the fastest mark with a time of 9:59.14
Junior
Lorraine Brancale (Staten Island, NY / St. Joseph Hill/ NYU) was impressive
once again placing 22nd in 10:40.14, pacing the Seahawks in back-to-back competitions.
Senior
Victoria Spector's (Yaphank, NY / Longwood) consistency continued as she has now placed in the top half of every competition this season, finishing 46th in 11:01.01. toay. Freshman
Maria Scalici (Staten Island, NY / Susan E. Wagner) placed 62nd with a mark of 11:18.62.
Junior
Danielle Iacampo (Staten Island, NY / St. John Villa) finished 67th in 11:24.80 with senior
Heather Wolf (Pine Brook, NJ / Montville Township) only seconds behind, placing 70th in 11:26.38. Sophomore
Brietta Wilson (Neptune, NJ / Neptune) competed for the first time this season, recording a time of 12:31.64, finishing 100th.
