Staten Island, NY - Monmouth claimed five of the six singles matches and the doubles point en route to posting a 6-1 victory over Wagner. With the win, the Hawks improve to 4-11 and 2-5 in the Northeast Conference (NEC) while the Seahawks fall to 4-10 and 1-4 in the league.

At No. 3 doubles, senior Nikki Arnold (Bethlehem, PA / Liberty) and sophomore Lauren Hauer (North Attleboro, MA / North Attleboro) defeated Sarah Turner and Liz D'Arcy by an 8-0 count at No. 3 doubles. Unfortunately, MU was victorious at No. 1 and No. 2 to claim the match's first point.

During singles play, freshman Jenna Harris (Fountain Hills, AZ / Fountain Hills) pulled out a thrilling 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 win over Sarah Turner at No. 5 to claim her seventh victory of the year, which is tied for tops on the team.

Wagner returns to action with a neutral site match against Saint Francis U on Saturday, April 13 at 2:00 pm on the campus of Quinnipiac.
