Vukov then pulled out a thrilling 6-7 (2-7), 6-4, 6-4 win against Marly Roche at No. 1 singles. Jurgielewicz was victorious at No. 3, easily claiming a 6-2, 6-1 win over Alexa Manforti. At No. 4 singles, sophomore
Julia Teichman (Plymouth Meeting, PA / Germantown Academy) picked up her team-leading seventh victory by scores of 6-0, 6-4 against Cynthia Vlad. Freshman
Jenna Harris (Fountain Hills, AZ / Fountain Hills) also had no problem in defeating Leonora Paul 6-3, 6-2 at No. 5 singles. The Green & White won No. 6 singles by default in providing the final 6-1 tally.
Wagner will look to make it two in a row against Delaware State on Tuesday, April 9 at 1:00 pm at the Wagner Tennis Courts.
