Jersey City, NJ - Saint Peter's (5-6) defeated Wagner (3-8) 5-2 in non-conference tennis action at the Yanitelli Bubble. The Peacocks improve to 5-6 on the year while the Seahawks fall to 3-8.

The Seahawks were led by sophomore Julia Teichman (Plymouth Meeting, PA / Germantown Academy) and freshman Jenna Harris (Fountain Hills, AZ / Fountain Hills), who were victorious at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively.

Teichman won her team-best sixth match of the year via an 8-4 score over Ivana Grbelja in a pro-set format. Harris, meanwhile, was winning 6-5 in the first set against Vanessa Vogel, before the latter was forced to retire.

Wagner returns to action on Friday, March 29 at 12:00 pm against Niagara.
